God's Word details the benefits for seeking His wisdom and knowledge in Proverbs 2:1-6. It states "My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out of insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding". We are compelled to guide our children in the acquisition of the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, so we must train them to seek Him first and to grow in His grace and knowledge. For this reason Christian development classes are offered to our young adults that provide an unleashing of God's Word in such a manner that they will be able to receive, retain, and apply the knowledge acquired.

As we build our youth's relationship with God we also must insure that they learn to carry the word to the masses. We are all commissioned with the great purpose of building God's Kingdom by planting seeds, then God will grant the increase. As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest will never cease (Genesis 8:22). When we plant seeds in our youth, they become co-laborers for the cause of Christ. Recognizing chances to share God's Word is vital to the development of our youth, so we offer witness and fellowship outings allowing them to interact with all of God's children - those who believe and those who are yet to be saved. Hebrews 10:25 states, "let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Our youth complete community outreach activities and sponsor as well as participate in extravaganzas and fellowshipping opportunities. These encounters will give the youth a chance to share with others the love of Christ in deeds. 1 John 3:18 encourages us. It says, "Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth". Like a master craftsman trains an apprentice by modeling, we must teach them through our random acts of kindness toward others. For we are admonished in His Word to "train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it" (Proverbs 22:6). If we start now training our youth to love not in words alone but in deeds, God has assured us that even if they do stray for a while, they will not depart from it.
