Truevine Missionary Baptist Church was both honored and humbled to nail the first nail on Habitat for Humanity's latest project - Faith House. The work began on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 9:00 am. Truevine, one of the founding churches of this house, really felt a part of the process and enjoyed giving back to the community. The church in February made a $2,500.00 contribution to the building of this house and our Men's Ministry was anxious to get started on the project. Volunteers who worked on Saturday included: Bro. George Bryant, Bro. Leroy Drake, Deacon Elter Lewis, Bro. Larry Mason, Deacon Alvin Phillips, Deacon Bill Wade and Bro. Augusta Wyatt. Sis. Clara Wade went along to rejoice in the opening ceremony and take pictures of the event. The men of Truevine made a great showing at this event and they even looked like they knew what they were doing! Sis. Wade is so grateful to these men and the attitude they had when working at this house.

The home, a joint venture with Cypress Creek Christian Church, Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, Heritage Presbyterian, Klein United Methodist Church, Metropolitan Baptist Church, and St. Ignatius Catholic Church is located in the Cherie Cove Subdivision in Northwest Harris County.

The TMBC Missions & Evangelism Ministry exists to organize, educate, and lead the congregation in reaching the lost and unchurched. Our purpose is to ensure that the people of God become visible and active in the community, wherever there is a need, so that ". . .seeing our good work, they will glorify our Father in Heaven." The ministry is involved with both foreign missions and domestic missions and is constantly engaged in ministry activity, ministry education, praying for missions, and acquiring resources (financial and material) for missionaries.

Truevine MBC is a member of both the Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention.
